Timber Worktops BrightonTimber worktops are a very affordable option when it comes to adding a touch of class to your new kitchen. Whilst they are on average double the cost of laminate worktops they are normally well under half and sometime as low as one third the cost of granite, quartz and glass.
Whilst a cheaper option, they can look every bit as exquisite if used in the right kitchen and installed well. Oak is of course a very popular choice and we only use prime oak for our kitchens as the minimal savings to be made with cheap fast grown oak just isn’t worth the risk. As well as Oak we supply and fit many other species of timber such as Cherry, Walnut, Zebrano, Iroko, Bamboo… all of which have very distinctive colours and grains.
It has to be said that wooden worktops do require more maintenance than other types of work surfaces in order to keep them looking pristine. However even if they are damaged, it would have to be pretty extensive before they were classed as un-repairable.
Wooden worktops suit almost all styles of kitchens from Country to Minimalist Modern.
